Unknown to many Tokyoites, the East Imperial Garden is a surprisingly vast space in the middle of downtown Tokyo, adjacent to the Imperial Palace and close to Otemachi Station. Along with the large grassy area shown here, there's also a more traditional garden with a pond and streams.
