Cherry Blossoms

Cherry Blossoms

Seeing the cherry trees (called sakura) bloom in Japan is a memorable experience. I planned a two week vacation to Tokyo for this purpose and was fortunate enough to catch the trees in bloom and have decent weather at the same time. The blossoms only last about a week or so, so timing is critical. Detailed forecasts are available in magazines and on TV. Here are a few of the pictures I shot. As usual, click on an image for more information.
