The Rocky Mountains

Banff National Park

Banff is one of several adjacent national parks located in the Canadian Rockies. The scale of the mountains is somewhat larger than the Sierras, making them even more impressive. The other distinct feature of this area is the aquamarine lakes. The color is caused by the suspension of fine silt particles in the water.

Rocky Mountain National Park

This park is just outside of Denver, Colorado. I haven't spent much time here, but would like to.
